Having breasts is the Number 1 risk factor for getting breast cancer. If you have breasts or love a woman with breasts, this book is for you. Although males also get breast cancer, I have limited the scope of this book to breast cancer in females.
The goals of this book are: to share information about breast cancer by walking you through my journey, to encourage women (especially young women) to understand their breast cancer risk factors and to manage them, and to increase awareness of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). My objective as I wrote was DMSU: Don’t Make Stuff Up. Thus, I have included a lot of
references, especially in Chapter 9, where I focus on cancer research.
