About the Author

LES WHITNEY was a Vistage Chair most recently, coaching CEOs individually as well as in groups. Les won Rookie of the Year, multiple Chair Excellence Awards and had an annual legacy award named in his honor, the Les Whitney Perseverance Award. Prior to joining Vistage, Les spent 17 years running several successful small-to-mid-market companies. Travel is Les’ passion, in addition to surfing, hiking, golf and playing the ukulele. He was diagnosed with incurable cancer in 2019.
