I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2019. I have been through several surgeries, mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy and 2 reconstruction surgeries. This is a project near and dear to my heart. I knew there was something that I wanted to do in solidarity with my fellow women who are undergoing this horrible journey and the caring people who want to do something for them but don’t know exactly what to do.

Each of these is handmade by me with love and well-wishes that it will bring encouragement and strength to who needs it. Comes in a silver gift box ready for gifting to that special fighter who is undergoing chemo, therapy, radiation or surgery. Gifts like this are something tangible to hold on to.

To family members and friends who buy and display this symbol in support of someone special to them – it’s a warm cared-for feeling for that person to see people doing things like this for them. Moments like that are extremely rare and oh so precious in the process of trying to cope with the disease and treatment. To those people – thank you. It will be remembered.

To my fellow Warriors, I would love to hear from you. You are not alone. You are stronger than you think. Be kind to yourself. There is no set path or correct way to handle this. Sometimes it’s coping one day at a time, sometimes it is an hour at a time and sometimes it’s getting through minute to minute.
