Attitudes with Latitude
I woke up early one morning,
And gave myself a look in the mirror.
My hair all fell out overnight,
But I wasn’t struck with fear.
Upon further inspection
I saw that I had three hairs left.
I put those three hairs in a braid,
And out the door I went.

Help to make everything okay.
You’ve known this your entire life,
Don’t you learn it the hard way.
The very next day when I awoke,
I saw that only two hairs remained.
I parted them right down the middle,
And went out to find my fame.
Everybody said I looked mighty fine,
And I was feelin’ about the same.
By the time I got home around half past five,
I was right on top of my game.

Help to make everything okay.
You’ve known this your entire life,
Don’t you learn it the hard way.
Two days after all of this began,
There was one hair left on my head.
I flipped it straight back in a ponytail,
Not a moment did I dread.
I set out to seek my fortune,
And though it didn’t fall in my lap,
I recognized I should not cry,
But look forward to what’s on tap.

Help to make everything okay.
You’ve known this your entire life,
Don’t you learn it the hard way.
By now you may have guessed it.
That last hair fell out too.
Well that’s all right. It’s fine with me,
‘Cause I was running out of styles to choose.
